Our History

Our journey as a company began in August of 2005 as a family owned and operated business. Originally branded as Custom Vehicle Solutions, we started as installers of emergency warning products and making emergency vehicle modifications.  

Our business model shifted in September of 2014, with a new focus on our abilities and skills as welders.  Operating under our original name, we began our 100% mobile welding business with a single truck and an engine driven welding machine. Our humble start turned into a fleet of three vehicles over the next five years. In October of 2018 we moved into our first dedicated shop space, where we still operate out of to this day.

With the events surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, our business suffered unforeseen setbacks, and a significant cut in requests for service.  In early 2020 our efforts to rebrand our welding service began.  In mid 2020 we obtained the name and rights to Garden State Welding and listed it as a subsidiary of Custom Vehicle Solutions L.L.C..

Starting December 1, 2021 all of our welding services began to transition to our new name. Custom Vehicle Solutions still exists as the parent company of Garden State Welding, and as a shop based emergency vehicle modifier; servicing all emergency services, public works, and towing companies.
